RuGunning...

So, for all of you that have never heard of Gunnison, you're missing out! Teeny's sister, Jodi, lives down there and it has to be some of the greatest farm country in the state.....or nation at that. Anyway, Teeny has done the Salt Lake Half Marathon for the last three years, but this year we thought we'd try something different, not to mention that both of us could register, pay for gas and food for the trip with what only Teeny could have paid for the SL half. Mark and Jodi were nice enough to put us up for the night, feed us, provide a babysitter for us (Carson, who was AWESOME), and take us out to a movie. They are great people. Anyway, the run couldn't have been better! It was a little cold to start, but after about 5 minutes, the wind died down and conditions were perfect for running. It was great running with Teeny too. We had both trained seperately, but finally got the chance to do run together. No worries, there was no hand holding or any PDA-ing, that's just gross. We couldn't believe how fast the course went by, and before we knew it, we were finishing up. There were only 40 people total and the locals that did the aid stations were so nice in taking our gear and handing out waters. It was really a great run (my favorite so far - soo great), and one we'll definitely do in the future! Thanks again Mark and Jodi!!

Here we are finishing up
Turning the last corner
This is Carson. Hear him roar! He was so great with our kids and ran the 5k too!
Into the mist...
Getting our party started!
