Christmas time and New Years...a long time coming.

We get to start out our Christmas season every year with Abrams birthday. He always asks to go to Salt Lake for his Birthday to see the lights. So we surprised him and got a hotel, went to dinner at one of his favorite places, the Old Spaghetti Factory, and went to see the lights. It is a fun tradition and I would love it if he wanted to do that every year. After the lights we went back to the hotel for some late night swimming. We had a blast.

After dinner we went and saw Santa. He even knew all my boys by name.
The boys at the lights.

Nolan with the train whistle at City Creek.

I cannot believe Abram is 10. I have no idea where time is going or how I am old enough to have a 10 year old. This is him being made a Webelo.
We did have a party for him with his friends and he got a bow and arrow for his birthday... but some how we (Clint) have lost the pictures  :(
He is such a great kid and I could not be more proud of the you boy he has become. He is always so funny making me laugh and so sweet just when I need him to be. He is a great example to his little brothers.
Abram at his piano recital. He did an amazing job and has improved so much in the last year.

Ginger bread house time.

One of the Spencer Family traditions. Reading the Christmas story and having the kids dress up of the parts. Always makes for great pics.

Abram and Tate as Wise Men.
Nolan and Fisher as Shepherds.

The whole clan

Grandma Becky always does a great job with cute jammies.
This year we got to spend Christmas Eve at home and the weather was great for Christmas Eve because it snowed and we got to play in it all day.
Abram and Nolan with their snow man.
They built a fort.
Tate built his own little snow man.
That night we decorated cookies for Santa.

We ordered Chinese take our for dinner and opened new jammies and played board games.

Christmas morning is always magical.
Nolan got the Jump Track set he wanted from Santa.
Nash did not really know what was going on but had fun anyway. He loved all the paper.
Clint and I sent the boys on a scavenger hunt and at the end they had to put this puzzle together to see that for Christmas we got our family a trip to Disneyland!!
Abram got some sweet mustaches in his stocking.
Abram opening the pogo stick from Santa, and Tate opening the Iron Man he asked Santa for.
Tate and the Grinch. His favorite color is green.

Nash got a Bullseye  from Santa. He loves it!

They all got Legos from Grandmas Jensen. They love Legos and they did all the building by themselves.

Nash got this sled from Grandma Becky and we have put it to good use this winter.
Sledding the day after Christmas.

All my boys lined up.
Abram catching air.
Nolan making an angel.
We had the best New Years party ever thanks to my sista, Rach. She knows how to throw a party and we partied hard all night. She had a plan for something to do every hour on the hour. It was so fun to have her in town for the Holidays and I miss her a ton when she is not around. Life is more fun when she is in town.
Thanks Rach we love you!!

The fondue was Tates favorite.
Clint and Nash did not quite make it to midnight.
I still woke him up to get my midnight smooch.
The next day we went for a New Years day snow shoe with Rachel and her kids, Grandma and Grandpa Spencer. It was a great way to ring the the New Year.
Thanks everyone we had so much fun!
